Employment scheme and register
- Our Employment service is complementary to the MOD funded
Tri-Service Resettlement organisation and is free of charge, although
donations are always welcomed and appreciated. With the significant
employment links we have developed since our foundation in 1958, registration with
us will greatly enhance your personal network. At the same time, we strongly urge
potential registrants to register with other appropriate organisations (see our links
page).
- To register, complete a Registration
for Employment form. We shall acknowledge your registration and undertake
to:
-
Produce a short resume of your key skills and job aspirations
for inclusion in our Corporate Newsletter and Employment Register..
- Distribute the register every 3 months to those companies and organisations who support the Association.
- Despatch a copy of your CV to potential employers who may approach us with a specific requirement or job specification.
- Inform you of any post or appointment that we are made aware of that might suit your skills and aspirations.
- In return we ask you to:
- Keep us informed of your job search developments on a regular basis (i.e. at least every 2-3
weeks) and in particular any changes in your circumstances, such as moving house, obtaining employment (including part-time posts), or amending your ideas or
intentions regarding your search for employment.
- Acknowledge any job opportunity provided by us whenever possible.
- The Job Opportunities List contains a selection of vacancies
held on our books. Vacancies advertised come from a variety of sources,
including our own network, corporate members, search and selection
agencies that support us and periodicals/newspapers. For further details and to seek any other
job vacancies in your area of interest, contact us by phone on 020 7407
8658 or e-mail (office@whiteensign.co.uk).
