THE WHITE ENSIGN ASSOCIATION EMPLOYING INDUSTRY PARTNER SCHEME
Forming links with employing industry partners is vital to the White Ensign Association’s charitable work in helping those from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines communities find sustainable second careers and training opportunities. Those who join the Association enter into a mutually beneficial partnership – beneficial to the Association because the provision of excellent career opportunities for our beneficiaries helps us meet our charitable objectives. Beneficial to the Industry Partner because they gain access to a huge pool of skilled and experienced talent for relatively little or no cost.
Currently, those organisations wishing to become commercial partners and offer employment or training opportunities to our Service Leavers and ex-military community can do so by joining the Association as Company Members.
Those opting to join the Association as Company Members enjoy unrestricted access to our Employment Registrant communities and active support in identifying candidates for suitable roles or training opportunities as they emerge. Membership allows Partners to post vacancies direct to the WEA website (although some partners prefer us to post vacancies on their behalf), access the database of Employment Registrants and their profiles/CVs, publication of Company details in the WEA Annual Review and promotion of their brand on the Association’s social media platforms. The WEA also advertises vacancies on social media, ensuring maximum exposure to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines communities.
There is an annual subscription for Full Membership of the Association for those offering employment or training opportunities. Please contact the Director of Employment Services for further details.
The annual subscriptions are necessary in order that the Association can meet its operating costs and, as a military charity that aims to continue to provide support to its clients well into the future, generate the necessary funding required. Our current partners agree that the amounts requested are modest and, when offset against the current costs of commercial recruitment, are very reasonable. Our partners also know that by joining us they are gaining access to a huge pool of talent, across a number of disciplines and career stages.
If you would like further information about Company Membership of The White Ensign Association as an employing Industry Partner, please contact the Director of Employment Services (DES) on 0207 940 8133 or by email at Dom.firstname.lastname@example.org
