Introduction
The White Ensign Association offers a unique and enduring service to personnel of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, both serving and retired, and to their families. Our mission is to:
- provide unbiased help on matters of personal finance.
- provide assistance in seeking employment opportunities and introductions.
- provide general help on family or personal administrative matters.
The Association has built on the strong links that have existed between the Royal Navy, the City, industry and commerce since its foundation in 1958. Its current corporate and individual membership, embracing a wide spectrum of influential individuals, companies and businesses (both large and small), have the common aim of developing, strengthening and widening these links to the benefit of those who come to the Association for help and guidance.
There are three grades of membership:
- Full Company member
- Standard Company member
- Individual member
Full Company membership is offered to those companies who wish to receive regular lists of personnel registered with us for employment. Separate lists are available for different skill groups. Full members will also receive invitations, when available, to visit ships at sea or Naval establishments ashore. Annual subscription £400 plus VAT.
Standard Company membership is offered to companies willing to offer specialist advice to the Association. Annual subscription £300 plus VAT.
Company members are listed in the Association’s publications, publicity material and on its Website.
Individual membership is offered to individuals who are keen to support the role of the Association and maintain links with the Naval Service. One may become an Individual life member for a single payment of £150.
Member Benefits
All members receive invitations to the occasional gala events which have become a tradition of the Association and may be invited to social events on board HM ships or within Royal Naval or Royal Marines establishments. All members receive reports and publications from time to time. All Corporate and Individual members are listed in the Annual Report.
