Stepping up our support to WEA customers in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Overseas

The WEA is delighted to announce the arrival of Andy Leaver MC as our new full-time regional manager for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Overseas. Andy has just retired as a Warrant Officer First Class from the Royal Marines and brings a wealth of experience with him to this new role. He knows both Faslane and Arbroath very well, having served with both 43 Cdo FPGRM and 45 Cdo, and has also completed a recent tour in Bahrain. After a period of induction, Andy will be opening his doors for business on 10 July. The WEA is very grateful to Greenwich Hospital for funding this post which will enable us to enhance our support to WEA customers in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Overseas.

As the newest member of the WEA staff, Andy is now the proud recipient of a WEA tie (!), presented to him on joining by our CEO Commodore Stuart Wright onboard HMS Belfast, the HQ of the WEA.
