Free Armed Forces Pension Scheme and Armed Forces Compensation Scheme guidance

Our mission, as a Naval Charity, is to inform and provide guidance to all serving and former members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, their Reserves and their families on employment, finance, resettlement and personal administration.

Our staff offer unbiased, independent and free guidance through personal interviews and lectures delivered at all Royal Navy and Royal Marine establishments throughout the United Kingdom on a regular basis.

We can also assist you through telephone interviews and email.

Financial guidance

We provide general guidance on a broad range of personal finance issues. The staff regularly visit Royal Navy and Royal Marine units giving briefings and presentations on individual financial awareness and the financial aspects of resettlement.

Personal Interviews can be arranged locally covering any of the subject areas that we offer advice or guidance on including:

  • Insurances & assurances
  • Debt management

Free information and guidance resources

Alongside our personal service, we offer a range of information and resources on a wide variety of topics including, finance, housing, civilian transition, work and business and personal welfare.

All information is available for free and can be used without registering with us.

The service and interview were exceptional, I entered the meeting feeling very concerned about leaving the service after 23 years from the age of 16.
