British Antarctic Survey (BAS) delivers and enables world-leading interdisciplinary research in the Polar Regions. Its skilled science and support staff based in Cambridge, Antarctica and the Arctic, work together to deliver research that uses the Polar Regions to advance our understanding of Earth as a sustainable planet. Through its extensive logistic capability and know how BAS facilitates access for the British and international science community to the UK polar research operation. BAS is recruiting at the moment and needs people, in both Cambridge and Antarctica, to full the following vacancies:

Director of Operations – Cambridge - £80,000 - £85,000 per annum
Mechanical Engineer – Cambridge and Antarctica - £30,357 per annum
Antarctic Atmospheric Scientist – Antarctica - £23,937 per annum
Boating Officers – Antarctica & South Georgia - £23,937 per annum
Carpenter/Builder – Antarctica - £23,937 per annum
Chef – Antarctica - £23,937 per annum
Electrical Power Generation Technician – Antarctica - £23,937 per annum
