Opportunities for Women in Financial Services

We are hosting an event specifically for a female audience to attract more women to the St. James’s Place Academy. You are invited to consider this unrivalled opportunity to change your career, train to become a qualified wealth advice professional and start your own wealth management business or join an established St. James’s Place Practice as an Adviser. You will be backed by one of the UK's leading wealth management companies, FTSE 100 - St. James’s Place Wealth Management.

The Academy provides women who want to take more control of their work/life balance, or who want a complete change in career direction otherwise have left work either through choice or redundancy, with a financially and personally rewarding career alternative.

The initial training will take place in either London, Manchester, Solihull or Edinburgh depending on which Academy training programme you wish to join.

Venue: St. James’s Place Wealth Management, Fourth floor,
40 Bank Street, Canary Wharf, London E14 5NR
on Monday 10th December 2018 from 6pm - 8.30pm
6pm Registration and refreshments
6.15pm Welcome, presentations and Q&A
7.30pm Drinks reception, canapes and networking
8.30pm Close

This event will address the entrepreneurial spirit of women and look at how more and more women are choosing to leave the corporate world to run their own business. We are delighted that 23% of the current Academy trainees are women, substantially more than the national average of women who provide financial advice in the UK.

During the evening we will highlight the opportunities the Academy has provided to a number of successful women, enabling them to take control of their working lives and lead the way running their own business or alternatively, by starting a new career as a qualified financial adviser within an established St. James’s Place Practice.

Following the presentations, we will hold a Q & A session where the panel will share their reasons for working in financial services, what their Academy journey was like and how they feel about being a qualified wealth advice professional with St. James’s Place.
